Argyle International Airport (SVD): arrival & transit guide
What to expect landing at Argyle International Airport in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: the arrival flow, transit rules, and onward transport.
Argyle International Airport is Saint Vincent's single terminal, handling every arriving and departing flight. Off the aircraft, passengers head into the arrivals hall, where an arrival and departure card, handed out on the plane or available inside, gets filled in alongside your passport before reaching the immigration desk.
Most nationalities enter Saint Vincent and the Grenadines without a visa for an ordinary tourist stay, and the immigration desk is the same straightforward document check either way; officers commonly ask about your length of stay and where you are staying, and may ask to see a return ticket, all part of ordinary entry rather than anything specific to a visa requirement. After immigration, you collect all checked luggage before the customs check, where anything acquired abroad should be declared.
There is no dedicated airside transit area at Argyle, so a connecting international passenger goes through the same immigration and customs process as any other arrival rather than staying airside.
Outside arrivals, taxis and pre-arranged transfers wait for the drive into Kingstown and the island's other tourist areas.
