Travelling to North Korea on a Nepal passport, you need a visa, arranged before you travel.

North Korea does not run an embassy application process the way most countries do. Once the operator has your details, the tour company handles the entire approval process on your behalf.

Tours generally start in Beijing, from where the group travels on together into North Korea. Backpacking or solo sightseeing inside the country is not an option once the group visa is issued.
