Do I need a visa for Iraq from Nepal?

Travelling to Iraq on a Nepal passport, you need an e-visa, applied for online before you travel.

Entry runs through Iraq's own e-visa portal rather than a foreign mission. The federal e-visa does not automatically cover the Kurdistan Region. Arriving via Erbil (EBL) instead of Baghdad (BGW) or Basra (BSR) means a separate application through the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Have the emailed approval on hand when you arrive; officers check it at passport control. Give the approval process some lead time before you travel.
