Do I need a visa for Iraq from Hong Kong?

Travelling to Iraq on a Hong Kong passport, you need an e-visa, applied for online before you travel.

The e-visa is issued through evisa.iq, and there is no in-person step beforehand. Note that the Kurdistan Region issues its own e-visa independent of Baghdad's; that matters if Erbil (EBL) is your entry point rather than Baghdad (BGW).

Once approved, you will get a document by email that immigration officers will ask to see when you land. Give the approval process some lead time before you travel.
