Do I need a visa for Iraq from Mexico?

Travelling to Iraq on a Mexico passport, you need an e-visa, applied for online before you travel.

Iraq's e-visa system replaced the old embassy-visit route for most nationalities. The federal e-visa and the Kurdistan Region's e-visa are two separate systems. If you are headed to Erbil (EBL) rather than Baghdad (BGW) or Basra (BSR), you will need the regional one.

Have the emailed approval on hand when you arrive; officers check it at passport control. Plan to apply before you fly rather than on the day of travel.
