| Permitted stay once admitted | 90 days |
British passport holders have an option nobody else on this list does: the Eurostar through the Channel Tunnel, which clears French immigration in London before the train even leaves, at St Pancras rather than on arrival in Paris. Flying is still the more common route, but the train avoids airport transfers entirely for a city centre to city centre trip.
Since leaving the EU, British travelers get the same 90 day Schengen allowance as other non-EU passports on this list, a change from the unlimited stay British citizens had while the UK was still a member.
